Sentinel has joined with the Brotherhood Crusade to launch the Brotherhood Crusade Wildfire Relief Fund to assist the residences and businesses destroyed in Altadena and Pasadena due to the Eaton fires. Repost from @lasentinelnews • Charisse Bremond Weaver, president and CEO of the Brotherhood Crusade, has been named to the Durfee Foundation’s 2023-2024 class of Sabbatical Fellows. The Sabbatical program offers awardees’ organizations a total of $75,000 each in an effort to replenish the stores of energy and inspiration for “our community’s most treasured leaders.” The Foundation said that the donation includes $60,000 for awardees to travel, reflect or otherwise recharge in whatever manner they propose, for a minimum of three consecutive months; and $15,000 to advance the skills and well-being of the organization’s staff, and also to reward those who carry [...]
