That’s the Combined Federal Campaign and the Brotherhood Crusade is one of the recipient agencies. “Over the past 17 years, federal employees from the post office, military and other entities have given over $51 million to charities. Because of your contributions, the Brotherhood Crusade has been able to assist agencies and local programs combat domestic violence, childhood obesity and offer educational and financial services when needed,” says President and CEO Charisse Bremond Weaver. “Giving back is crucial to sustaining our community. I appreciate the support of all federal employees and hope that they will continue to support us. Our CFC Code is 33576 or www.greaterlacfc.org.” The Brotherhood Crusade is a 501©(3) nonprofit institution founded in 1968 to provide necessary resources, program services and a voice of advocacy to traditionally underserved communities. Our mission is to remove and/or help individuals overcome the barriers that deter their pursuit of success and facilitate opportunities for a better quality of life, by promoting health and wellness, enhancing educational opportunities, cultivating economic growth and building community agencies and institutions. ### |
